Michael Dougherty Hopes to Direct Trick ‘R Treat 2 After Godzilla: King of the Monsters
Michael Dougherty is currently hard at work on his monster movie sequel Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Recently he was a guest on director Mick Garris’ podcast Post Mortem (a must-listen-to podcast for horror fans if there ever was one) and dropped some info on what he might be working on next.
Turns out, Doughtery hopes to make a sequel to his Halloween classic Trick ‘R Treat his next flick.
“My hope is that once Godzilla has been put to rest that I can dive back into [Trick ‘r Treat 2],” Doughtery told Mick Garris. “I would love to finish writing it in post-production [of Godzilla] and then I’d love to make it my next project.”
