If you’ve never seen Frank Sudol’s hilarious animated horror epic City of Rott, then do yourself a favor immediately… seek it out, soak it in, and laugh your ass off! Once you’re done, come back here and check out the first news on the sequel.

Frank got in touch with us today to let us know that things are shambling along quite nicely on City of Rott 2:

“City of Rott 2 is currently on the second draft of the script, along with early planning, pre-production and asset creation for Fred Jr., the zombies, buildings, environments, characters, special gore FX, animation, scene setups and more,” says Sudol. “The film is planned to be released in a 2D version but also a 3D version viewable on 3DTVs, with a focus on strong, easy to view 3D. Much consideration is being taken regarding fan feedback involving City of Rott’s pacing, plot, acting and so on. It’s still too early to release any visuals since things change often during the creation process.”

No release date has been set at this time, but lord knows we will be watching
