Good news for fans looking forward to Kevin Williamson’s latest television endeavor for Fox. Now if only someone could nail down a title for this series, we’d be ecstatic (although we have unofficially heard the name might be “Mastermind”). Keep reading for the latest!
Deadline reports the Fox series pickup of the heavily favored Kevin Williamson pilot starring Kevin Bacon. Because Bacon committed to only doing 15 episodes, the project will likely be set for midseason. The show, from Warner Bros. TV, is a thriller about ex-FBI agent Ryan Hardy (Bacon) who leads the search to catch diabolical serial killer Joe Carroll (James Purefoy), who has created a cult of serial killers.
The formerly “Lost” Maggie Grace also stars as Sarah Fuller, a young doctor who is Carroll’s only surviving victim. Nico Tortorella will be portraying Will Wilson, her next-door neighbor. The cast is rounded out by Jeananne Goossen as the Special Agent in Charge of the investigation, Natalie Zea as Carroll’s ex-wife, Shawn Ashmore as eager young FBI Agent Riley, and Valorie Curry as Carroll’s son’s nanny.
