New Crysis 3 Screenshots and Concept Art Put You Back in the Hunt

One of 2013’s most anticipated games is EA and Crytek’s upcoming sandbox-shooter Crysis 3. The game will see the return of the main protagonist Prophet and the return of the deadly alien race known as the Ceph as well.

New York City has been taking over by the Ceph and mother nature after being encased in a nanodrome, and it’s up to you to take back the overgrown and flooded city.

To get you ready for the game, the team behind the game have revealed new concept art and screenshots that reveal just what you’ll be up against and some of the weapons you’ll have at your disposal when the game drops next year. Taking place in 2047, Prophet returns to New York City on a revenge mission only to discover that the city has been encased in a nanodome (Liberty Dome) and has become overgrown with trees, dense swamplands and raging rivers – a veritable urban rainforest.
