Chad A. Verdi's Woodhaven Production Company Green Lights New Horror Project, Self-StorageWhen you think of horror production, you don’t normally think Rhode Island, but that may change if Chad A. Verdi and his Woodhaven Production Company have anything to say about it. Verdi is proud to announce they have greenlit their third horror film, Self-Storage.

Woodhaven Production Company’s first film, Inkubus, has recently expanded its VOD reach into 100 million homes with over 1 million buys and 100,000 DVDs sold. Success like that has motivated Verdi to continue with horror. “Inkubus is just the beginning for Woodhaven,” Verdi said. “We’ll be following up with our second horror film, Infected, starring William Forsythe and Michael Madsen, who battle zombies to the death.” Infected is currently in the final stages of post and is set for release on Halloween 2012.

Self-Storage is currently in pre-production with filming scheduled to begin in July in East Greenwich, RI. Jonathan Silverman (Weekend at Bernie’s, Inkubus) is attached to the project to star in the lead role. Tom DeNucci is on board to direct with Michelle Verdi handling the music supervision.

Synopsis
Self-Storage tells the story of Jake, the night watchman at a highly secured self-storage facility. His pals are home from college and looking to party. Jake decides to invite them to work, to throw a fiesta of his own. Innocent mischief turns a naughty night of sex, drugs, and rock and roll into an evening of pure terror. Barbed wire fences are meant to keep people out. But these fences keep people in.
