Thomas Ian Nicholas Eats His American Pie by The Lost Tree No matter how ridiculous they got, we pretty much loved the entire American Pie franchise, and now one of its stars is ready to go from making us laugh to making us scream in the new indie feature The Lost Tree. Read on for details.

According to Variety, Thomas Ian Nicholas will star in horror-drama The Lost Tree, written, directed, and produced by Brian A. Metcalf. The film is a Red Compass Media production. Besides Metcalf, producers are Nicholas and Ben Chan.

The Lost Tree centers around a man (played by Nicholas) who leaves his old life behind after a horrific tragedy and moves to an isolated cabin to start over. Principal photography is slated to begin in October.
