Though we’re still waiting for a release date here Stateside, our friends across the pond will get to feast their eyes on the remake of the 1981 classic film Maniac on March 15th. Check out the official quad poster courtesy of Empire Online.

Franck Khalfoun directs the script by Alexandre Aja and Gregory Levasseur, which stars Elijah Wood. Nora Arnezeder (Safe House) co-stars in Maniac (review here).

Synopsis:
Just when the streets seemed safe, a serial killer with a fetish for scalps is back and on the hunt.

Frank is the withdrawn owner of a mannequin store, but his life changes when young artist Anna appears asking for his help with her new exhibition. As their friendship develops and Frank’s obsession escalates, it becomes clear that she has unleashed a long-repressed compulsion to stalk and kill.
