It’s been just about a year since we first heard about Dave Zagorski’s The Devil’s Nightmare, but it is nearing the end of post-production, and we have some new stills to share along with the film’s opening scene and credits.
Dave tells us he’s working on some audio fixes and waiting on VFX to be completed, and if all goes according to plan, the movie should see a premiere possibly in mid to late April. In the meantime, check out the film’s opener below, but beware it’s somewhat NSFW.
Synopsis:
A remake of Jean Brismee’s Belgian/Italian film from 1971 (not released in America until 1974 and alternately titled “La plus longue nuit du diable”, “Castle of Death”, “La terrificante notte del demonio” and “Succubus”), The Devil’s Nightmare is written and directed by Dave Zagorski and stars Seregon O’Dassey, Devanny Pinn, and MAD Z regulars Colin Allen, Christopher Shanahan, Kt Baldassaro, Ray Hryb, Dina Baker, and Johnny Donaldson.
Dr. Henry Rhoneberg (Shanahan) has developed an experimental technique to completely cure people of the vices that rule their lives and has gathered a motley assortment of addicts – from an easily angered alcoholic to a rock star with a love for excess (is there any other kind?) – to a remote facility for treatment. No sooner does the group settle in before interpersonal relationships begin to conflict, people fall into bed, a mysterious stranger arrives at the door… and then the killing starts.
