Feeling a little lonely this holiday season? Why not bring home a new friend? Marcus wants to know everything about you; he’ll do the grocery shopping, he’ll lay out your best dress … he’ll reveal all your darkest secrets and kill all your friends!
This first feature from indie writing/directing team Bob Hardison and Rich Robinson, Marcus won Best Feature at the Tupelo and Appalachian Film Festivals (move over Cannes and Sundance) and has been picked up by Polychrome Video for distribution. Though the release date has yet to be announced, the DVD will be packed with extras including two making-of featurettes, commentary, and audition tapes.
If you don’t want to wait for the DVD release to take a gander at this dark Christmas treat, which I had a chance to view a rough screener of and thought was pretty decent (full review coming soon), Marcus will be showing at the Hollywood Horror, Sci-fi and Fantasy Film Festival (official site). Marcus will be playing on Saturday, October 21st @ 10pm at the Arc Light Theater on Sunset Blvd. ‘Tis the season to be a psychopath!
