Exclusive Debut - Infestation: Day One Live Action Web SeriesA current trend is to create live action shorts and web series from video games – and none are more ripe for the picking than those with zombies. Today we kick off a three-day exclusive release of Episodes 1-6 of Infestation: Day One, based on survival horror MMO Infestation: Survivor Stories.

Infestation: Survivor Stories (formerly The War Z) is based five years in the future following a horrendous viral outbreak of apocalyptic proportions that destroyed 95% of the world’s population. Players must survive against all odds. Scavenge, defend yourself, band with others, or die in the process – your life is in your own hands.

Now comes Infestation: Day One, a live action web series that pays homage to scary movies of the past such as Evil Dead and also gives background on the game’s zombie outbreak.

It’s written by Lana Titova and Michael Welch and directed by Titova. The cast includes Titova, Angela de Silva, Michael Lawson, Hugh McBride, Ron Slanina, Josh Butcher, and Kimberly Westbrook. Special effects are by Alexey Vlasov.
