From the Press Release
Mexican based Salto de Fe Films is excited to announce that principal photography on Adrián García Bogliano’s latest film, Scherzo Diabolico, has started in Mexico City. The film stars Francisco Barreiro (We Are What We Are, Here Comes the Devil), rising actress Daniela Soto Vell, and Cuban cult actor-director Jorge Molina (Juan of the Dead).

Shooting is under way and will take place on locations in Mexico City and its surrounding areas. Scherzo Diabolico is a co-production from Bogliano’s Salto de Fe Films, US-based F, and Mexico-based Mr Blue, rABYa Producciones, and Morbido Films. Adrián García Bogliano is the creator of the international horror sensation Here Comes the Devil and the upcoming Late Phases.

Scherzo Diabolico is Bogliano’s eleventh film and his second feature in Mexico after Here Comes the Devil. In addition to the recent Penumbra, Cold Sweat, and The ABCs of Death, Garcia Bogliano’s many films include such independent genre achievements as Rooms for Tourists, 76 Steps, and I’ll Never Die Alone.

Scherzo Diabolico brings Bogliano back from the supernatural realm to a wild black comedy about a bored and frustrated accountant who decides to kidnap a teenage girl who will become his worst nightmare.

Scherzo Diabolico is produced by Garcia Bogliano’s longtime partner Andrea Quiroz Hernández and Carlos Melendez. Joshua Sobel, from the acclaimed Philippine movie Graceland, is executive producer of the film. Alex Bergman, Vince Cupone, and Mario Kenyon are co-executive producers. Fons PR will serve as a sponsor for Scherzo Diabolico with co-founder Brandy Fons serving as a co-executive producer for the film.
