Horror Hotel Getting Rooms Ready for Season 2Last year we told you about the arrival of eclectic, old-school web series Horror Hotel, and now we have word that the award-winning series is gearing up for a second season. Check out more details, plus Season 1’s episode ‘Invader,’ right here!

Since it first hit screens last year, the Horror Hotel web series has netted awards for “Outstanding Series”, “Outstanding Directing”, “Outstanding Score” and “Outstanding Sound Design” in the sci-fi/horror division at LA Web Fest 2014 and increased its distribution range with availability via Hulu, xfinity, AT&T, U-verse and MSN Videos.

On the topic of Season 2, Horror Hotel producer Debbie Hess dropped us a few details on what viewers can expect to see in the first few episodes:

“Our first episode for the new season, ‘Aliens Stole My Boyfriend,’ just premiered here in Atlanta at a local venue. It is the story of two cute alien chicks who come to Earth in search of boyfriends because all the boys on their home planet have been wiped out by testosterone fever. They crash land their space buggy on the parking lot of the motel where they soon meet Roger and fall in love with him. Problem is, his girlfriend Cindy won’t give him up easily. It stars Stephanie Stevens, Kalyn Wood, Austin Freeman, Anastasia Pekhtereva and James Edward Thomas.”

Ms. Hess continued, “The second episode, ‘Coma Girl,’ is about a man who sneaks his comatose wife out of a convalescence home to a seedy motel to celebrate the occasion, but a maintenance man at the home claims he is in love with her and wants her for himself. It stars Amber Seidel, Troy Halverson and Neil Ramsay. We are shooting the third episode, ‘Brain Robbers in Love,’ in September. It is about a narcissistic businesswoman, Phoebe Bird, who swaps brains with a young girl from a rival company under the guise of gaining inside information, when in reality she just wants a younger body to attract her long-time handsome bodyguard.”

Keep an eye on the Horror Hotel web series website for more details as the new season approaches, and take a look at Season 1’s episode ‘Invader’, which is playing this year’s Raindance Web Fest in the UK, below.
