EFM 2015: First Look at Angelica

With Berlin’s EFM 2015 looming, the trailer for Angelica, a psychological thriller set in 1880’s London that is based on the novel by bestselling author Arthur Phillips (Prague, The Egyptologist), has arrived with a pair of stills and some early sales art.
Jena Malone stars in the film directed by Teeth‘s Mitchell Lichtenstein. Two-time Oscar nominee Janet McTeer (Albert Nobbs) co-stars in the pic, which will have its world premiere in the Panorama section of the Berlin International Film Festival on February 7th.
Synopsis:
Constance (Malone) is a young shopgirl who falls for and marries Dr. Joseph Barton. After the difficult childbirth of their daughter, Angelica, doctor-ordered celibacy creates a rift in the Bartons’ marriage, and a ghostly force enters their home.
