Michael Biehn Allegedly Approached for Role in Neill Blomkamp’s Alien Film
An interesting thing about Neill Blomkamp’s (District 9, Chappie) concept art for his Alien film is that the images included the characters Ellen Ripley and Dwayne Hicks, respectively played by Sigourney Weaver and Michael Biehn. Weaver is on board the project, and it looks like Biehn has also been approached!
Though we urge you to not take this story as 100% fact, as nothing has been confirmed, a user over on Reddit just posted a story about a recent encounter with the Aliens star, wherein he spilled the beans that the talks have begun.
“I’m at Pensacon, just now gave Michael [Biehn] a Reece ReAction figure, said ‘This is yours… one question, have you been contacted for Alien 5?‘” wrote the user. “He looked at me, smiled and said, ‘Yes.‘”

Ridley Scott is set to produce the so-called Alien 5, which will take place after the events of Prometheus 2. Sigourney Weaver is likely to reprise her role of Ellen Ripley in the film, and she recently exclaimed her excitement about finishing the character’s story once and for all.
