After Dark Films always has one of the most fun booths at the San Diego Comic-Con, and we have a peek inside this year’s version for you to dig on. Their theme for 2011? Re-Kill and Rise of Nightmares!

SEGA and After Dark Films have formed a partnership for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con highlighting Rise of Nightmares on Kinect for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system. Both companies also have some other cool things planned; read on for the details.

Look for Rise of Nightmares to debut gameplay trailers and promotional materials in preparation for the game’s September 6, 2011 release date. Rise of Nightmares features over-the-top horror themes, buckets of blood, and copious amounts of gore. Players will immerse themselves in a unique videogame that allows them to perform a variety of intuitive motions in order to guide their character through one night of terror. Along the way players will be able to use weapons such as chainsaws, scythes, and brass knuckles to decimate the undead – sure to be one of the most talked about horror games to date.

SEGA is giving fans a chance to play some of the company’s upcoming fall and spring releases in SEGA’s limited-time-only pop-up arcade at the Comic-Con International 2011 in San Diego. The company is setting up its own SEGA Arcade space near the convention center and will have a number of its highly anticipated titles playable for all, including Rise of Nightmares, House of the Dead: OVERKILL – Extended Cut, and an all-new unannounced game. Comic-Con marks the first time the public can get their hands on many of these games before their releases later this year.

The list of games playable at SEGA Arcade in San Diego includes:
· Captain America™: Super Soldier
· House of the Dead: OVERKILL™ – Extended Cut
· Guardian Heroes™
· Rise of Nightmares™
· Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games™
· Renegade Ops™
· Shinobi™
· Sonic Generations™
· and more!
