Make Me Dead Wants to Make You a Winner

Adrienne Barbeau, author of the new horror novel Make Me Dead, has started a contest for all of her fans and readers.

Readers will find a secret link at the back of the book, where they can enter the contest for giveaways like a brand new Kindle Paperwhite or an audio edition of her memoir, There Are Worse Things I Can Do. The contest is open for 48 hours, closing June 23, 2015, at 10 a.m. CDT. One winner will receive the Kindle, and five readers are eligible for the audio book. Winners will be announced June 28 at 8:00 p.m. CDT.

Described as “one part comic mystery, one part police procedural, a little bit supernatural, and a little bit occult,” Make Me Dead follows Barbeau’s typical Vampyres of Hollywood style by providing humor, satire, and sharp-tongued wit.

For those unfamiliar with the series, Love Bites will be free until June 23. Make Me Dead is available for Kindle at Amazon.

He even directed Tales from the Darkside: The Movie, which was Andrew LaSane's Scarred for Life pick, which is one of Terry's favorite movies. We chat about his long history in cinema; about how he started working with Romero to some insights into Tales from the Darkside. And we discuss his latest work, the novel Residue: Paramentals Rising, which is a sequel to the Netflix show. After learning about his horror history--including a memorable viewing of Night of the Living Dead--we find out why The Haunting terrified him as a twelve year old.
