It’s true: He knows if you’ve been naughty – and he’ll spank you into oblivion if you have! To celebrate the upcoming release of the soon-to-be Christmas classic Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale, for one day only – this Thursday, 25th November to be exact – London’s Carnaby Street will play host to the display of a real life Lapland Santa!

Santa will be available for perusal and photo opportunities outside Liberty’s, Carnaby Street, London, from 11am to 8pm.

For the safety of the public, Santa will be caged and guarded by two official Lapland Santa Hunters, and all punters should be aware of the following rules:

• No Alcohol
• No Arguing
• No Cursing
• No Frolicking
• No Smoking

If you plan to attend, be sure to RSVP to the Rare Exports UK Event on Facebook.

On top of this great event, we also have a Horror DVD bundle consisting of Paranormal Activity, The Collector, Shelter, The Box and Rogue to give away via Twitter. To win, simply upload your photos alongside Santa at the event to Twitpic with the tag #santaforsale at both the Dread Central AND the Icon Horror Twitter accounts.

We’ll pick the best of the bunch next week and announce it right here. Further Rare Exports prizes are also available at Icon’s Twitter too.

Please note that this competition is open only to residents of the UK. Pictures uploaded MUST be taken from the aforementioned event, and uploaded to both the Dread Central and Icon Horror Twitter accounts.

Good luck, and we look forward to seeing your shots! Dig our Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale review here!

Development Hell: The Unmade Horror Movie Podcast
WELCOME TO DEVELOPMENT HELL (TRAILER)
For every horror title to hit V.O.D ... there are countless others that end up D.O.A.    DEVELOPMENT HELL is the podcast dedicated to unearthing these cursed horror productions, to find out what went wrong, and decide if they still stand a shot at the green light!   Join host Josh Korngut, a queer Toronto-based filmmaker, as he digs up the dirt on the best horror movies never made. Learn about ALIEN 5, BEETLEJUICE GOES HAWAIIAN, HALLOWEEN 3D, FREDDY VS. JASON VS. ASH, and many more.    He also picks the brains of some of the most exciting voices in horror, like Ryan Spindell (creator of Shudder released THE MORTUARY COLLECTION), Joe Lipsett (film critic and co-host of the HORROR QUEERS podcast), and the Real Queen of Horror herself, Zena Dixon!   DEVELOPMENT HELL is a proud member of the Dread Podcast Network.   Subscribe today! See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
