UK Readers: Win Cruel Summer on DVD!
Almost one year ago, Dread’s own Matt Boiselle referred to directing duo Phillip Escott and Craig Newman’s Cruel Summer as “unapologetic, unwavering, and uneasy to stomach.” With the film gearing up to hit UK DVD on February 6 courtesy of Solo Media + Matchbox Films, we’ve bagged 3 copies on DVD to give away to some lucky, iron-willed readers. Reckon you can handle it?
Cruel Summer (review) stars Richard Pawulski, Danny Miller, Natalie Martins and Reece Douglas.
To be in with a chance of winning, just send an email to contests@dreadcentral.com including your FULL NAME AND POSTAL ADDRESS along with “Cruel Summer UK DVD” in your subject line. We’ll take care of the rest.
This competition is open to UK residents only. The deadline for entries is Friday, February 10.
Note: By entering this contest, you are consenting to allow Dread Central and its subsidiaries use of your email address.
Synopsis:
Inspired by true events. Danny (Richard Pawulski), a teenager with autism, escapes the inner city for the beautiful countryside as part of his Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.
Little does he know that bitter Nicholas (Danny Miller, Emmerdale) is hunting him, stemming from a lie created by the enamoured and envious Julia (Natalie Martins) and new boy Calvin (Reece Douglas, Waterloo Road).
As the three close in on Danny, Nicholas’ behaviour becomes increasingly erratic and violent and Julia and Calvin must decide whether to go through with Nicholas’ deadly plan.
