“Being Human” – Season 2 premieres Monday, January 16th at 9/8c.
“Being Human” is a re-imagining of the acclaimed BBC original series that follows three 20-something roommates: a ghost (Meaghan Rath), a vampire (Sam Witwer), and a werewolf (Sam Huntington) who are struggling to keep their dark secrets from the world, while also helping each other navigate the complexities of living double lives.
“Ghost Hunters” – New episodes air Wednesdays at 9/8c.
Contact between humans and spirits from the afterlife is not as far fetched as is it seems. As plumbers by day and ghost hunters by night, Jason Hawes, Grant Wilson, and their team have worked to track down the presence of paranormals across the country. As leaders of The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS), both Jason and Grant have made it their life’s mission to help anyone with questions pertaining to paranormal phenomena and ghost hunting. TAPS is a group of fairly ordinary people — office managers, factory workers, teachers and even psychic-hotline gurus — moonlighting to understand seemingly unexplainable disturbances.
“Face Off” – New episodes air Wednesdays at 10/9c.
“Face Off” is a competition/elimination series exploring the world of special effects make-up artists and the unlimited imagination that allows them to create amazing works of living art. The contestants are tasked with elaborate feature challenges including executing full body paint make-up on models and creating their own horror villain. Not only does the show incorporate effects make-up, it includes a wide range of skill sets including prosthetics, 3D design, sculpting, eye enhancers, casting, and molding. Each episode involves incredible reveals of the competitors’ finished work and the drama of one contestant being sent home by the panel of expert and celebrity judges. It all culminates in one winner and one grand prize that will launch a career.
