Synopsis:
The Stand is author Stephen King’s post-apocalyptic vision of a world decimated by plague and embroiled in an elemental struggle between good and evil. The fate of mankind rests on the frail shoulders of 108-year-old Mother Abagail and a handful of survivors including Stu Redman, an ordinary working-class factory man; Nadine Cross, a deeply conflicted woman; Frannie Goldsmith, a pregnant young woman; and Nick Andros, a young deaf and mute man. Their worst nightmares are embodied in a man with a lethal smile and unspeakable powers: Randall Flagg, the Dark Man.

The dystopian series features a stellar ensemble cast, including Academy Award nominee Greg Kinnear (As Good As It Gets) as Glen Bateman, James Marsden (Sonic the Hedgehog) as Stu Redman, Odessa Young (Assassination Nation) as Frannie Goldsmith, Jovan Adepo (Jack Ryan) as Larry Underwood, Amber Heard (Aquaman) as Nadine Cross, Nat Wolff (A Fault in our Stars) as Lloyd Henreid and more. Guest stars include Academy Award winner J.K. Simmons (Whiplash) as General William Starkey and Heather Graham (Bliss) as Rita Blakemoor.

Both the Blu-ray and DVD includes an exclusive gag reel and featurette that takes viewers behind the scenes with the cast and crew as they bring this epic story to life.

Benjamin Cavell serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside Taylor Elmore, Will Weiske, Jimmy Miller, Roy Lee and Richard P. Rubinstein.
