I Am Alive Release Date Announced

I Am Alive follows a man on a journey to find his missing wife and daughter after “The Event” has turned his hometown into a post-apocalyptic wasteland. It’s an interesting story that has been done before, but it has never really been attempted on video game medium until now.

From the Press Release
“In I Am Alive, players will be challenged by both the environment and the enemies. Stamina and resource management are key when being exposed to deadly atmospheres and scaling enormous buildings in search of supplies. The unique combat system requires players to utilize intimidation – cowards are easily swayed with an empty gun, while other enemies will put players to the test.”

The Ubisoft project is finally completed and is slated to be released on March 7, 2012 on PC and Xbox 360 as part of Xbox LIVE Arcade House Party Promotion. You can also find more info about the game on the official I Am Alive website.
