‘Orphan: First Kill’ Actors Isabelle Fuhrman and Julia Stiles Talk The Power of Platform Boots
In 2009, Isabelle Fuhrman showcased her talent as Esther, one of horror’s creepiest kids, in Jaume Collet-Serra’s Orphan. She was only ten years old at the time and embodied the terror of an adult pretending to be a kid. Now, with the upcoming prequel Orphan: First Kill, Fuhrman resurrects her iconic role at the age of 25.
Directed by William Brent Bell, the prequel follows Esther as she escapes an institution and pretends to be the kidnapped child of a wealthy American family. But as soon as she “comes home”, mother Tricia (Julia Stiles) senses something’s wrong.
In honor of the upcoming release of Orphan: First Kill, Dread Central spoke with Fuhrman and Stiles about the killer character, filming tricks, and more!
