‘Longlegs’ Director Osgood Perkins and Star Maika Monroe Talk Nicolas Cage’s Facial Prosthetics [Watch]
The Longlegs hype train is pulling into the station as Osgood Perkins’ latest feature arrives in theaters this weekend. Early reactions have been pouring in and it seems like Perkins has another horror hit on his hands. Between his aesthetic sensibilities, the film’s cast featuring horror icon Maika Monroe, and an unholy script, it’s a hellish trinity that comes together to create a uniquely horrifying horror experience.
Monroe stars in Perkins’ latest as FBI Special Agent Lee Harker, who has a special set of skills that the FBI is keen to exploit in their search for the brutal serial killer Longlegs (Nicolas Cage). Perkins’ film follows Harker as she digs deeper into the case and deeper into her own past.
We spoke with Perkins and Monroe about Nicolas Cage’s facial prosthetics, capturing Monroe’s reaction to seeing him in costume for the first time, and more.
