‘Don’t Move’ Directors Adam Schindler and Brian Netto On Their New Netflix Chiller

Some of the horror movies boast the most simple of premises. Take directors Adam Schindler and Brian Netto’s new film Don’t Move. A woman is injected with a paralytic agent and she must escape a serial killer. Simple, right? That leaves more room for creativity and stunning performances, which is just what the Netflix film boasts and why it’s been performing so well on the streamer.

In the film:

A grieving woman (Kelsey Asbille) hoping to find solace deep in an isolated forest encounters a stranger (Finn Wittrock) who injects her with a paralytic agent. As the agent gradually takes over her body, she must run, hide, and fight for her life before her entire nervous system shuts down.

We spoke with Schindler and Netto, as well as producer Zainab Azizi, about working with such a simple premise, finding the horror in that simplicity, and telling stories about difficult subject matter.
