‘Werewolves’ Director Steven C. Miller Talks Practical Effects And Returning To Horror
Steven C. Miller is a true horror fan. He’s loved them since childhood and even breathed new life into a holiday horror classic with his 2012 film Silent Night. Now, after creating pulse-pounding action thrillers for a decade, he’s returning to the genre with his latest film, Werewolves. Starring Frank Grillo and a pack of practical werewolves, Miller brings us on the night from hell when a Supermoon turns millions into blood-thirsty lycanthropes.
In the film:
A supermoon event has triggered a latent gene in every human on the planet, turning anyone who entered the moonlight into a werewolf for that one night. Chaos ensued and close to a billion people died. Now, a year later, the Supermoon is back….
We spoke with Miller about his return to horror, creating a pack of werewolves, and the infinite re-watchability of Blade.
