‘Borderline’ Director Jimmy Warden On Getting Special Permission To Use THAT Puzzle [Watch]

As evident in his script for the wacky Cocaine Bear, Jimmy Warden likes to mash genres together to create hilariously ridiculous chaos. And he does just that in Borderline, which he both wrote and directed. Starring Samara Weaving and Ray Nicholson, Warden’s latest thrives at its weirdest moments, including the discussion of an especially bizarre puzzle.

In the film,

A dangerously persistent stalker (Nicholson) invades the home of a ‘90s pop superstar (Weaving) with grand delusions of a wedding. With her life on the line and help from her loyal bodyguard (Eric Dane), she must escape the stalker’s sinister grip before they tie the knot.

We spoke with Warden, Weaving, and Nicholson about their new horror comedy and the special permissions Warden needed to use that weird Junior puzzle.
