‘Ash’ Stars Eiza González and Aaron Paul On Stepping Into A Strange New World [Watch]
Actors Eiza González and Aaron Paul are no strangers to action films, well-versed in fight choreography and carrying extended action sequences. Now, as the stars in Flying Lotus’ new film Ash, their skills, especially González’s, are put to the test as they carry this strange cosmic horror film on their backs. Their chemistry plus their inherent star power helps ground a vibe-forward experience about the hells that await us amongst the stars.
In the film:
On the mysterious planet of Ash, Riya (González) awakens to find her crew slaughtered. When a man named Brion (Paul) arrives to rescue her, an ordeal of psychological and physical terror ensues while Riya and Brion must decide if they can trust one another to survive.
We spoke with González and Paul about finding faith in their characters, those iconic space suits, and getting to play on a practical set.
