‘Ed Kemper’ Director Chad Ferrin Talks Telling The Story Of A Terrifying Serial Killer
Director Chad Ferrin and writer Stephen Johnston had teamed up to tell the story of notorious serial killer, Ed Kemper, who’s also know at the Co-Ed Killer. With their take on his life, they examine not only Kemper’s twisted psychology, but also his mother’s. She was a complex woman whose treatment of her son is said to have played a massive part in his behavior. And from what you seen in this film, it’s hard not to understand why they’d make that assumption.

The new film follows the horrifying true story of Ed Kemper, a cunning and sadistic serial killer shaped by childhood abuse. His charming facade masks his grotesque obsession with murder, mutilation, and the ultimate act of revenge against the woman who scarred him most—his mother.
