Sideshow Adds The Red Death to its Court of the Dead

Back in early November we told you about Sideshow Collectibles’ new line of Premium Format Figures entitled “Court of the Dead,” and now we have word on the next member of said Court: Avarkus, The Red Death.
Product Description:
A wretched abomination, part mummified flesh and part tormented spirit, Avarkus, The Red Death drifts upon the celestial ether between the realms of the living and the dead. With an insatiable thirst for the avarice in men’s souls, he seeks out those corrupted by greed to claim as his own.
In his hand he holds a mask of gold, which represents the face of his life’s true desires, and on his back a rich and gruesome embroidered cloak imprisons the faces of those preeminent souls he has taken for Death’s designs. But perhaps most horrific of all, from the odious sack of innards that spill out of his vacuous abdomen, vengeful spirits become a celestial torch and pitchfork-wielding mob to exact a wicked justice for their host.
Having once lived a life of greed, now Death commands Avarkus to serve in the Court of the Dead and carry out his master plan – to rise, conquer, and rule!
The approximate product size is 21.5″ H (546.1mm) x 8″ W (203.2mm) x 10″ L (254mm). Artists are Tom Gilliland (Art Direction, Design, Paint); Amilcar Fong of Viggiano Studios (Design); Pablo Viggiano of Viggiano Studios (Sculpt); David Hanson, Sr. (Sculpt); and Tim Hanson (Costume Fabrication).
