Oderus Urungus and Balsac Featured in New GWAR The Jaws of Death Throbblehead Set!The void left by the passing of GWAR frontman Dave Brockie is a big one, and we all miss him and his alter-ego Oderus Urungus immensely. Now a new way has been devised to fill just a little bit of that hole in our hearts!

From the Press Release
AGGRONAUTIX and Slave Pit Inc. proudly present the GWAR Throbblehead Set featuring Oderus Urungus and Balsac “The Jaws of Death.”

Oderus, GWAR’s lead singer and broadsword swinger, stands an imposing 6.5″ tall and will lay waste to any opposing his reign of terror. Dutifully worship Balsac, guitarist for GWAR, while keeping out of decapitation distance. He stands 7.5″ tall from horn to hoof.

Will you be one of the worthy few to own this collectible set? Worship your masters, human filth!

A portion of the proceeds will go to the Dave Brockie Fund, a charity with the mission of promoting the advancement of music, images, letters, and performances in the arts. It will endeavor to encourage promising talents, and preserve the legacy of Dave’s works. It intends to be a support system to those who have dedicated their lives in pursuit of creativity.

100 special limited edition Throbblehead figures signed by GWAR are available exclusively from Slave Pit Inc. at GWAR.net.

Oderus and Balsac are the 22nd and 23rd Throbbleheads to be polyresinated by Aggronautix. In May of 2009 the company launched with a highly popular G.G. Allin “1991” figure, which was limited to 2000 numbered units and sold out quickly.

All Aggronautix figures are now available for purchase on Aggronautix.com and will also be available at many independent retailers, comic shops, tattoo parlors, etc., via distribution by MVD Entertainment Group – a company specializing in music-related distribution since 1986.

Pre-order yours here, and be sure to follow Aggronautix on Facebook.

***For orders outside of the United States, please note that items will take longer to arrive (average of 3 weeks)***

Scarred For Life
Episode 266: Opus Writer/Director Mark Anthony Green and Michael Jackson's Thriller (1983)
This week we were unbelievably excited to chat with writer and director Mark Anthony Green! We talk about his feature film debut Opus, working with musical icons The-Dream and Nile Rodgers, Ayo Edebiri's star power and the eccentricities (and graciousness) of John Malkovich. Mark Anthony shares a fantastic story of John on set and so much more before we dig a bit into his horror history and find out why Michael Jackson's Thriller music video scared him as a kid. A shorter episode this week, but easily one of our favorite conversations in a long while. Don't miss it. And go see Opus in theaters!Follow Mary Beth, Terry and the Podcast on Bluesky.
