TikTok Discovers Horror Movies Banned For Being Too Disturbing [Video]
We have all seen some wild horror movies in our day. However, how many of us go looking for films that have been banned in various countries?
The TikTok favorite, HeidiWong (@itsheidiwong), put together a list of horror movies that are so extreme they are banned all over different parts of the globe. If you are looking for some weird and nasty stuff, these are the four movies Heidi suggests.
Salò (1975)
In World War II Italy, four fascist libertines round up nine adolescent boys and girls and subject them to 120 days of physical, mental, and sexual torture. This movie needs so many content warnings that I’m going to suggest you look it up before hitting play.

Ebola Syndrome (1996)
A Chinese restaurant worker wanted for murder in Hong Kong contracts Ebola in South Africa, becomes immune to it, and unknowingly spreads the virus there, then comes back to Hong Kong and continues to infect people with it. This film is so disturbing that it’s listed as a Hong Kong Category III, which means no one under the age of 18 is permitted to buy, rent, or watch in a theater.
The Bunny Game (2011)
A sex worker looking for her next meal hitches a ride with a trucker that leaves her praying for her next breath. The film was banned in the United Kingdom by the British Board of Film Classification because of the “graphic scenes of sexual and physical abuse.” It’s also listed.
Faces of Death (1978)
This one is a collection of death scenes, ranging from TV material to homemade super 8 movies. Wong warns us in the video that there are hard-to-watch scenes with animals in the film, so be careful. The movie was added to the UK’s video nasty list. Legend has it the movie is banned in 46 countries.
