Battlestar Babe Talks Children of the Corn
It’s been a bit since much has been said about the upcoming remake of “>Children of the Corn, quite possibly the last in the line of Stephen King books that needed another filmed version of it. Sci Fi Wire got to chatting with Corn star and former “Battlestar Galactica” hottie Kandyse McClure and got some confusing information about what we can expect from the new movie.
”I don’t actually think it’s going to be that violent, in terms of what you actually see happening, kind of graphic violence,” she explained. ”I think we’re trying for the psychological thriller, for the implied violence. It is pretty gory. I have to say there’s a lot of blood. There’s definitely a lot of blood. But the stuff with the kids is really what creeps me out. It creeped me out watching it on set, and I imagine after they’ve rendered and doctored it and put the music in that it’ll be even more disturbing. But there is a lot of gore…” So it’s not violent but there’s a lot of gore? So we’re supposed to imagine the violence when it happens and then see the aftermath of it?
No word on when Children of the Corn will be airing, but we’ll keep our eyes open and let you know. Hit the link above to read more of McClure’s thoughts on the remake!
