Anyone who’s read Max Brooks’ “>World War Z should know the significance of the Battle of Yonkers. It’s a turning point in the story of man’s war against the zombies and one sequence that will make or break the upcoming film when all is said and done.
I09 found a piece of concept art done by artist Daniel LuVisi that depicts a moment from said battle, and if the finished film looks anything like this, I’ll be one happy zombie fan. The art was done as a try-out for the gig in Marc Forester’s adaptation, which is pre-production as we speak.
Hit the sample image on the right to see the entire thing; it’s pretty damn cool. So did he get the gig? ”I’ve heard back recently, but I can’t disclose any information at this time as I feel it is not my place. Yet…”

Hope the movie is anywhere close to looking this cool in the Dread Central forums!
