Slaughter in Syracuse Independent Underground Film Festival Returns for 2015
In 2014, the inaugural Slaughter in Syracuse Independent Underground Film Festival took the area horror community by storm. Featuring outstanding guests like Plotdigger’s Ryan Nicholson and Toetag’s Fred Vogel, the fest was a huge success. This year looks to be another smashing success!
Organizers Nick DeCarlo of BeneaththeUnderground.com and Jason West of Vultra Video are aggressively planning Slaughter in Syracuse 2015, and the weekend looks to be outstanding! Headlining the event is the 15th anniversary screening of Eric Stanze’s underground classic Scrapbook. Stanze will be in attendance during the screening and hold a Q&A immediately following. Another highly anticipated event is the debut of American Guinea Pig: Bloodshock with director Marcus Koch in attendance, and he’s also holding a Q&A after the screening.
The weekend features loads of films as well as great vendors and all types of bonding events for fans of underground horror to come together and really appreciate the work of their favorite filmmakers who will be celebrating right there amongst the fans. Slaughter in Syracuse promises to bring your favorite underground filmmakers as close to the fans as possible.

The Second Annual Slaughter in Syracuse Independent Underground Film Festival is ready to slay New York State with a three-day event which reaches to the depths of independent underground film from July 10 through July 12, 2015. SinS is the brainchild event of Jason West and Nick DeCarlo.
SinS opens up Friday, July 10th, at 6:00 pm at The Maplewood Inn with a special VIP Meet & Greet experience with directors and actors in attendance and exclusive screenings of American Guinea Pig: Bouquet of Blood and Guts with director Stephen Biro in attendance with EFX maestro Marcus Koch, as well as Revenge Is Her Middle Name with director Anthony Matthews in attendance with producer Bryan Truex available for Q&A following the films.
Saturday, July 11th, brings the Slaughter in Syracuse Independent Underground Horror Film Festival to the Palace Theater beginning at 11:30 am with local Syracuse band One Last Shot opening the event.
On Sunday, July 12th, the excitement continues at the Maplewood Inn with the Slaughter in Syracuse Collector Con at 11:00 am featuring vendor booths with everything horror and sci-fi related that any gorehound or sci-fi fan could want to search for. The Slaughter in Syracuse Independent Underground Film Festival is an 18+ years of age event.
