X-Files Revival Might Provide Sequel to Classic Season 4 Episode
Rumors have surfaced claiming that the second episode of Fox’s limited series “The X-Files” revival may be a sequel to the popular Season 4 episode “Home.”
Viewers have several reasons to believe the rumors. The episode is titled “Home Again,” which appears to be directly related to the Season 4 episode. Furthermore, the writer-director of “Home Again” is Glen Morgan, who also wrote the original “Home” along with fellow writer James Wong.
Both episodes air second in their respective season, with the “Home Again” coming almost 20 years after “Home.” “Home” aired on October 11, 1996, and “Home Again” will air on January 25, 2016.
Both episodes also feature scary, memorable characters. A freakish, inbred group dubbed the “Peacock Clan” was the center of the “Home” plot line. In “Home Again” viewers will lay eyes on “Band-Aid Nose Man.” TVLine describes “Band-Aid Nose Man” as an “intimidating, odd, weary, creepy and immeasurably strong” individual, also stating he’s “a powerful, violent, and frightening ‘thought’ come to life.”
Tune in to Fox on January 24, 2016 to see David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprise their roles as FBI agents Mulder and Scully in the six-episode event series.
