Upcoming SenoReality Short Film Screenings
We recently got an update from Patrick Rea, SenoReality‘s short film writer/director/producer/editor extraordinaire, as to what events will be showcasing some of their works in the near future.
First up is this weekend’s Fangoria Weekend of Horrors in Chicago. At 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, Rea’s “Next Caller” and “Now That You’re Dead” will be shown during the Short Film Showcase: Horrors from Kansas. If you can’t make it to Chicago and haven’t seen them yet, both films can be found on Dread Central’s Video playlist.
Next, on Sunday, March 15, during the SXSW Film Festival SenoReality, Scene-Stealers, Spiral16, and Plus1TV will be co-hosting a free screening of the following at Red 7, 611 E. 7th Street in Austin, Texas:
• Mrs. Brumett’s Garden (20 min)
• Misfortune Smiles (15 min)
• Next Caller (15 min)
• Now That You’re Dead (14 min)
• Paint Shaker (15 min)
• Torture Porn (9 min)
• Emergency Preparedness (8 min)
• Shed Out Of Luck (11 min)
• Woman’s Intuition – 2008 Emmy Award Winner (8 min)
Programs begin at 12 noon, 2 p.m., and 4 p.m.
During Cinema Wasteland, held April 3rd-5th in the Cleveland, Ohio, area, “Next Caller” and “Now That You’re Dead” will be shown during the Friday Night Short Film Block.
Also over the weekend of April 3rd-5th, “Emergency Preparedness” and the mock trailer “The Fluff” will be screening at the Faux Film Festival in Portland, Oregon.
Lastly, Rea and crew will be at Fango’s upcoming LA Weekend of Horrors April 17th-19th, but the schedule hasn’t been firmed up yet.
