Just three episodes remain in the truly awesome second season of “Salem” on WGN America, and to help get you ready for Sunday night’s Episode 2.11, “On Earth as in Hell,” here are several stills, a clip, and the ep’s preview.  You’ll notice things don’t look to be going so well for our dear Mary Sibley… or her beloved son either.

“Salem” Episode 2.11 – “On Earth as in Hell” (air date 6/14/15)
As the Countess (Lucy Lawless) and her son (Joe Doyle) move against two of John Alden’s (Shane West) valued allies, Mary (Janet Montgomery) suffers under the yoke of Puritan oppression stemming from an alliance between the Marburgs and another of Mary’s powerful enemies in Salem. But even as she seems to be at her most hopeless, Mary tries to take advantage of a widening schism between mother and son.

As John and Cotton (Seth Gabel) proceed with their monumental and unfamiliar task, each must process new information and gather strength to aid them in what lies ahead. Meanwhile, wracked with guilt and sorrow, a mournful Isaac (Iddo Goldberg) pays a surprise visit to an already somber town gathering; Anne Hale (Tamzin Merchant) finds the fate of many may rest in her novice – but powerful – witch’s hands; and John and Cotton get the first glimpses of the enemy they are facing. Written by Joe Menosky and Adam Simon; directed by Nick Copus.
