E3 2015: Dishonored 2 Is Twice The Stabby Fun
One of the headlining titles of the Bethesda Press Conference was Dishonored 2, follow up to 2012’s Thief/Deus Ex-like. Well reviewed at launch, the game has earned even more praise as time goes on and other similar projects *cough cough Thief cough* failed to deliver. Well, if you were hoping for a gameplay trailer to wow you like Dishonored did, you will still have to wait for that.
Here’s the CG trailer we did end up getting:

Aside from the trailer, they devs did announce that the game would be playable as both Corvo from the original and Emily, the girl you save in Dishonored. Each has their own set of powers and weapons, and from what we see in the trailer it seems that Emily is more trap focused. The specifics are still unclear, but I’d be willing to bet that Corvo has a few new tricks up his sleeve as well.
Considering that the original had multiple endings, I’m curious to see what plot they go with. Variables like that can be tricky to write around, but I have faith in the team. I for one am eager to dip back into the steampunk Victorian setting with supernatural undertones, so expect a review when it hits stores in 2016.
