Up Next from MTV’s Scream: Meet the Jocks and the Innocent
The time is almost upon us to see how well MTV is able to turn the Scream movie franchise into a successful TV series, and to help get you ready, here are two more “Meet the…” videos that introduce us to the show’s “Jocks,” or, as is usually the case in horror films, the “Jerks,” along with the “Innocent,” or the stereotype to end all stereotypes in horror: the “Virgin.”
Today we meet Jake and Will, portrayed by Tom Maden and Connor Weil, respectively, although their co-stars claim that neither of them is really that obnoxious… while teasing that this type of character typically dies in gruesome and gory ways. We can only hope!
We also get acquainted with Emma, played by Willa Fitzgerald; will she wind up our final girl? In this case, we’re hoping they mix it up a bit and let someone else be the sole survivor.
The series premieres on Tuesday, June 30th, at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. Along with Maden and Weil, “Scream” stars Willa Fitzgerald as Emma, Bex Taylor-Klaus as Audrey, Amadeus Serafini as Kieran, Carlson Young as Brooke, John Karna as Noah, Tracy Middendorf as Maggie, and Jason Wiles as Sheriff Hudson. Jamie Travis directed the pilot.
