BUFF 2009 to Showcase Bad Biology, Plague Town & More!
Tomorrow night kicks off this year’s Boston Underground Film Festival in a very sick, twisted, and joyously demented way: with a screening of Frank Henenlotter’s latest body horror opus “>Bad Biology!
Henenlotter and producer RA Thorburn will be on hand for a Q&A after the screening, followed by an opening night party that I’m sure is going to be a blast. The rest of the genre films on the BUFF schedule this year include “>Deadgirl (review), “>Plague Town, Travis (Joshua) Betz’s latest Lo, Adam Mason’s “>Blood River, the absolutely fantastic short “Treevenge”, and a helluva lot more!
What’s more, the good folks behind BUFF have proven their good taste and asked me to be a judge for the festival’s “best of” picks, which will be announced on Sunday, March 22nd, at 10pm, so be sure to make it out for it!
Dig on the entire BUFF 2009 schedule at their official site and look for my reviews and coverage from the fest in the coming days!
