As is often the case in Ryan Murphy-land, many familiar faces are returning for the next season of “American Horror Story,” and in fact the only notable one who’s not is Jessica Lange. Today another frequent series star has checked in so read on for the details.

Per Zap2It, Murphy has confirmed this week that Emma Roberts will star in “American Horror Story: Hotel.” Roberts previously appeared in both “Coven” and “Freak Show,” and Murphy provided some clues as to how much of her we’re going to see this time around.

“She’s still going to do a couple episodes of ‘Horror Story’ at the end, I think,” says the series creator. “She comes at the end. She comes, and she has a great thing with Evan Peters at the end.”

Roberts joins the previously announced Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Finn Wittrock, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Chloe Sevigny, Evan Peters, Wes Bentley, Angela Bassett, Max Greenfield, and Cheyenne Jackson for Season 5 of the “American Horror Story” anthology series.
