It’s The Witching Hour in these Images and Preview of the Salem Season Finale Episode 2.13

So, Heathens, has this been an incredible season of “Salem” or what?  We can’t wait to see what happens in Sunday night’s season finale Episode 2.13, “The Witching Hour,” and if you’re in the same boat, then settle in for a bit to check out a batch of stills from the ep and its preview.

We’re hoping to chat with the “Salem” cast and crew at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con about what they have in store for us next season (assuming the show is renewed by WGN America, which it certainly better be!) so stay tuned.

“Salem” Episode 2.13 – “The Witching Hour” (air date 6/28/15)
With her mission seemingly accomplished, the Countess Marburg (Lucy Lawless) revels in the apparent completion of her plans, unaware that the object of her devotion has desires which may be in direct conflict to hers. And one of her most trusted allies grows increasingly weary of the Countess’ treatment, leading to an unexpected act of defiance.

Emotionally drained by recent events, an all-but-defeated Mary (Janet Montgomery) stages a last-ditch effort against the Countess. Meanwhile, John (Shane West) is visited by a pair of unexpected allies who deliver a fateful message.

Mercy (Elise Eberle) comes to learn a stark reality, leaving her to face an uncertain future; an unrepentant and increasingly powerful Anne (Tamzin Merchant) faces the personal consequences of her duplicitous actions, leading her down an even darker path; and when Cotton (Seth Gabel) learns an unwelcome truth, his reaction is initially mixed, until a startling confession strengthens his resolve… but it may already be too late.

This week we chat with filmmaker, producer, composer, writer, author...this guy's done it all...John Harrison. From working with George Romero on everything from Creepshow and Dawn of the Dead to Tales from the Darkside to the Dune miniseries to his Netflix series Residue...he's done it all. He even directed Tales from the Darkside: The Movie, which was Andrew LaSane's Scarred for Life pick, which is one of Terry's favorite movies. We chat about his long history in cinema; about how he started working with Romero to some insights into Tales from the Darkside. And we discuss his latest work, the novel Residue: Paramentals Rising, which is a sequel to the Netflix show. After learning about his horror history--including a memorable viewing of Night of the Living Dead--we find out why The Haunting terrified him as a twelve year old.
