Remembering Paranormal Investigator Lou Gentile

On June 28, 2009, the paranormal community lost one of its greatest supporters, investigators, and voices… Lou Gentile. There was no one like him, and having had the pleasure of investigating with him, I can honestly and without a shadow of a doubt say he was the real deal.

Lou was the kind of person to take you by your hand and walk side to side with you into the unknown. He had an uncanny ability to attract supernatural activity. If there was truly something out there, he could find it, communicate with it, and let you make your own decisions as to what it was you had just witnessed. It was truly amazing. Lou had his own radio show and developed a massive fan base who appreciated the no-bullshit way that he did things. This was a man who didn’t mince words and never fell in line with anyone if he didn’t believe in their cause 100%.

We need a world with more Lou Gentiles. Now more than ever.

Aside from the paranormal stuff, I remain honored to have been able to call him a dear friend. We spent many a night playing video games laughing until the sun came up. Every time I look at a video game controller, I think of him and how much joy he brought to those of us who really knew him.

I miss and love you, buddy. Here’s to you!
