As San Diego Comic-Con 2015 approaches, Legendary Comics is providing fans with a sneak peek of the variant cover for Pacific Rim: Tales from the Drift #1, written by Joshua Fialkov. The highly anticipated series launches this fall.
For each issue of Pacific Rim: Tales from the Drift, Legendary will release an alternate cover featuring limited edition artwork. The variant cover for Issue #1 was illustrated by notable comics artist Whilce Portacio, (Uncanny X-Men, Iron Man, Spawn).
Following the best-selling graphic novel Tales from Year Zero, Legendary takes you back to the front lines of a larger-than-life battleground with Pacific Rim: Tales from the Drift. The official new comic series is presented by director Guillermo del Toro and Pacific Rim screenwriter Travis Beacham.
