#SDCC15: See the New Trailer for Erik Gardner’s Hag Short Film
When we discover up-and-coming talent with real potential, we like to keep an eye on them. Filmmaker Erik Gardner fits that bill, and as we told you a few days ago, his newest short film, Hag, will debut on July 10th at San Diego Comic-Con as part of the Independent Film Festival (CCI-IFF).
Fresh off a successful festival run with his previous film, Blue Hole, Gardner turns up the scary in Hag, which is a real creeper that builds suspense masterfully. Hag has four cast members, and they are all very impressive, coming in with memorable titles to their credits. The film features Eileen Dietz (The Exorcist), John Franklin (Children of the Corn), Megan Duffy (Maniac), and Drew Wicks (“Bones,” “The Newsroom”).
Hag premiers at CCI-IFF on Friday, July 10, at 6:35 p.m. in Grand Ballroom D of the Manchester Grand Hyatt. Check out the brand new trailer below, and tell us if you don’t agree that it looks killer!
