A handful of supremely talented filmmakers are teaming up for the horror anthology Holidays, which will put a twisted spin on beloved days like Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and Mother’s Day. Kevin Smith is on the team, and he’s just revealed the title of his segment. Read on!
Per Smith’s Twitter account, the Tusk director’s Holidays segment is titled ‘CAMHAIN,’ and just as the title seems to suggest, it will indeed center on Halloween.
“It’s about CamGirls working on Halloween night,” Smith wrote, in response to a fan’s question. “So instead of Samhain, CAMHAIN. It’s my segment for Holidays.”
Leading independent production and sales company XYZ Films has teamed up with John Hegeman’s newly-launched genre label Distant Corners Entertainment to produce Holidays, a collection of subversive holiday tales from some of the world’s top genre filmmakers.
The list of directors lined up for segments in the film includes Kevin Smith (Tusk), Gary Shore (Dracula Untold), Matt Johnson (The Dirties), Scott Stewart (Dark Skies), Nick McCarthy (The Pact), Adam Egypt Mortimer (Some Kind of Hate), Dennis Widmyer & Kevin Kolsch (Starry Eyes), Sarah Smith (The Midnight Swim), and emerging filmmaker Anthony Scott Burns.
