Subway Spokesman Jared Fogle Cut from Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!
As you’ve probably heard by now, Subway spokesman Jared Fogle was part of a highly disturbing child pornography investigation this week, which led to the sandwich chain cutting ties with the (alleged) creep. And they’re not the only ones, as Fogle’s Sharknado 3 cameo has also been cut.
The news comes courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, the site reporting that Fogle’s appearance in Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! has been excised from the film following the FBI’s raid on the Subway spokesman’s house in Indiana on Tuesday. Fogle had previously appeared in Sharknado 2.
Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! premieres on Syfy on Wednesday, July 22, at 9PM (ET/PT). The third installment in the Sharknado franchise will also premiere on Syfy in 87 countries within 24 hours of the US premiere.
Ian Ziering (Fin), Tara Reid (April), and Cassie Scerbo (Nova) star in Sharknado 3, which will cause mass destruction in Washington, DC, then roar down the Eastern Seaboard before the final confrontation in Orlando, Florida.
Joining them will be David Hasselhoff (Fin’s father, Gil); Bo Derek (April’s mother, May); and Nickelodeon stars Ryan Newman (April and Fin’s daughter, Claudia Shepard) and Jack Griffo (Claudia’s friend, Billy).
Anthony C. Ferrante once again directs, and The Asylum produces. Sharknado 3 is based on an original screenplay by Thunder Levin.
