WB Releases Stills for Upcoming Features
Ok, so we’re a little late to the party with these stills. Other sites have had them up all day. A little laziness never hurt anyone. Better late than never, right?
Warner Bros. released stills for three upcoming films on their 2009 horror slate today: Orphan, Whiteout, and Final Destination: Death Trip 3D. Without any further ado let’s take a look at the goods.
The first still on our tardy agenda is from the latest Dark Castle offering, Orphan. Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and opening in theatres on July 24th, Orphan tells the tale of family that adopts a little girl named Esther who ends up being more than your average little scamp.
Next up we have the Kate Beckinsale vehicle, Dominic Sena’s adaptation of the graphic novel Whiteout. Opening in theatres on September 11th, the film depicts the horrific journey of a lone U.S. Marshall in Antarctica who is investigating the continent’s first murder. Imagine how frazzled she would be if she lived in New York!
And finally we have a still from one of my own personal most looked forward to sequels of the year, David Ellis’ Final Destination: Death Trip 3D. What’s got me so excited? I loved what Ellis did in FD2. The guy doesn’t shy away from the sick, man. And plus in 3D there’s likely to be entrails flying everywhere! Even better? The release date is as of now still August 28th, the same day as Rob Zombie’s Halloween 2. Who are you rooting for to win that epic horror showdown?
Look for more on all of these films really soon!
