Sorority Row Sisters Promise Pretty Sweet Deaths

Been avoiding thinking about the upcoming remake of 1983 slasher The House on Sorority Row known as simply Sorority Row? If so, you may want to put it on your maybe it won’t be so bad after all list … if its three female co-stars can be believed.

MTV recently chatted with Margo Harshman, Audrina Patridge, and Leah Pipes about the film; and what they had to say was encouraging. Here’s a sample:

“There are some pretty sweet deaths in the script, I must say,” Margo Harshman, one of the sorority sisters in the flick, said. “There are some pretty twisted, gnarly ones.”

“There’s smashed faces, burned-off faces,” Harshman explained.

“I have two words,” volunteered Pipes. “Oral fixation.”

“Oh, that’s a bad one,” Patridge grinned. “It is rated R!”

“As soon as I read the script, I knew it was a remake of the 1983 film ‘[The House on] Sorority Row,’ so I went and bought it and watched it,” Audrina remembered. “It’s similar, but very different. It’s bloodier — definitely gory — and it makes you jump. You don’t know who the killer is, so it keeps you thinking and guessing — and you’re wrong!”

Look for the film in theatres October 2nd, 2009, and in the meantime keep an eye on the official Sorority Row site for updates.
