Synthetic Releasing Spreads Tell-Tale Lies to Theaters Beginning Next Month
Folks who love modern cinematic retellings of classic Edgar Allan Poe stories should definitely keep their eyes peeled for writer John Doolan and director Colin Theys’ upcoming feature Tell-Tale Lies. As you may have gleaned from the title, the new flick is a take on Poe’s The Tell-Tale Heart, a story that has found its way to the big screen in various forms over the years.

Tell-Tale Lies is a psychological thriller revolving around four friends at a prestigious university whose promising futures are jeopardized when they become connected to the accidental death of a classmate. When another student blackmails them about their involvement, the friends panic and fall victim to increasing paranoia as events spiral out of their control.
Beau Mirchoff, Alexa PenaVega, Renee Olstead, Michael J. Willett, Bailey De Young, Ethan Phillips, Anthony Del Negro, Sean Patrick Thomas, and John Heard all lend their considerable talents to Tell-Tale Lies.
